Marvel Studios has shared a new trailer and poster for Thor: Love and Thunder, offering long-awaited clues to what’s in store for the God of Thunder.

Thor: Love and Thunder picks up with the titular character on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace.

As the new member of the group, Hemsworth is joined by Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Pom Klementieff as Mantis,

Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as the lovable Groot. Gamora’s absence is notable.

adrift after the fall of his kingdom Asgard, leaving Earth with the Guardians of the Galaxy

The story of “Love and Thunder” is based on Jason Aaron’s comic book “The Mighty Thor,” which saw Foster, who dated and broke up with Thor,

taking over as the Goddess of Thunder after the Mjolnir deemed the Odinson unworthy, taking away his powers.

Jane Foster was first introduced in the 2011 “Thor” as a astrophysicist and returned in 2013’s “Thor: The Dark World,” becoming Thor’s love interest.

Waititi wrote the script for the film with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. The film is produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum. Marvel Studios produces.
